In the last couple of days my college has been conducting seminars, and here are my thoughts about it.
Seminars can be extremely beneficial for students, the right resource person can help us learn the right skills required and honestly it’s a great learning opportunity for us.
That being said a lot of the ones that I’ve attended have been stretched out and honestly feel forced when they announce it as a compulsory for attendance kinda seminar.
While I appreciate the effort to bring in experts and provide us with these learning opportunities, the mandatory nature of some of these seminars can sometimes diminish their effectiveness. Instead, creating an environment where students are motivated by genuine interest rather than obligation might yield better engagement and learning outcomes.
Ultimately, the value of a seminar lies in its ability to inspire and educate. When done right, they can spark curiosity and foster a deeper understanding of our field. So, let's hope future seminars strike that balance and truly enrich our educational journey.
Anyways keep coding noob coders gang :))
